Genome Quilts

At the Melbourne Modern Quilters Guild meeting last weekend I met Rachel(aka mymessings).

She making herself a Genome Quilt, using a protein present in someone when they have Breast Cancer as her focus. She has been working on her PhD for years and she is hopefully at the end of the journey. Isn't this a great project!

Rachel also put me onto the Scientific Quilter ... which bounced me onto a great blog post about Fibonacci quilts. I love quilts with function ...
