Not sure if I am happy with the combination of purples ... too much purple? too little?
And then there is the sashing? Thinking that I might have to go with a darker purple or black type of colour to frame the busyness that is the purple.

I think it looks great but agree the sashing isn't quite right.

I'd go with more indigo, less violet.
It's really pretty. I don't think it's too much purple. So many colors would work with it for the sashing. I never realized how practically every color "works" with purple. Good luck!
I like the quilt as it is - all those yummy purples! - but yeah, maybe the sashing should just be purple or black (though I'd be tempted just to do purple).
